Which gazebo is right for me? 2
“Before buying a gazebo in any style or from any manufacturer, you need to know if it’s the right one for you. Far too many gazebos sold in the UK are poorly designed, frail and often cheap and some are nothing more than a glorified tent. Which is fine, if that’s what you want. However, if you are planning on using your gazebo more than a few times a year and don’t want to keep spending money replacing your glorified tent, then you need to consider the points below.
Disappointed and angry after experiencing two failed gazebos I started my company and designed ‘how it should be done’. With 10 years gazebo design experience and the success my company has in selling more than a 1500 gazebos check out my top tips you should consider before buying any gazebo from anywhere”

- Below are thoughts, suggestions and questions that you need to be answered.
- Follow these tips and make sure this your last gazebo purchase.
The less you pay, the less use you get:
Sadly, this is true of all gazebo’s, but quality costs. But how much you plan to use your gazebo can affect this. If you want something you only use every once in a while then spending less might be the way to go. Alternatively, if you want something that creates a unique outdoor space you can use no matter the weather, then you are going to have to spend more on quality. A White Pavilion Gazebo is a premium quality product.
A budget gazebo, is not designed to last:
That’s why it’s the price it is, made from poor quality materials. Spending money every year or two replacing your gazebo is poor value for money, and more expensive in the long run. A White Pavilion Gazebo is manufactured using only high-quality materials.
A premium quality canopy for your gazebo is a must:
And should not need replacing for at least 20 years. White Pavilion Gazebo canopies are made from the same long-lasting material as used by the commercial marquee industry.
Are Gazebos only for summer?
Most gazebos are designed for good weather use only and are unable to withstand high winds, torrential rain or all year round use. What’s the use of only being able to use your gazebo on those few lovely summer days? A White Pavilion Gazebo is designed for all year round use – just ask my customers in Scotland.
99 and a half just won’t do:
Weatherproof and showerproof descriptions are not waterproof and claims of 99% waterproof, means it leaks! Don’t accept anything less than 100%. A White Pavilion Gazebo is 100% waterproof.
The chase is on:
Windy day? Don’t spend it chasing your gazebo. White Pavilion Gazebos are built to last and are capable of withstanding 100 mph winds. We have never lost one to weather, ever. Our record is surviving 115 mph winds!
Save yourself a lot of hassle and elbow grease with a White Pavilion self-clean canopy, it’s a simple choice really. White Pavilion Gazebo canopies self-clean in the rain. If you need to keep it pristine just a light clean with washing up detergent. No chemicals, no abrasives, no pressure washer – just a squirt with a hosepipe to finish.
Let the sunshine in:
Many gazebos on the market have dark canopies, timber or thatched roofs, which is fine if you want to be in the dark, even in the summer. White Pavilion Gazebo’s unique translucent canopy allows soft sunlight in and gives you 100% UV protection.
Back to nature:
Did you know that Gazebos with thatched roofs will go green and harbour all sorts of wildlife? That’s great for nature, bad for your gazebo. Also thatched roofs have to be regularly replaced! A White Pavilion Gazebo’s unique translucent canopy is tougher than nature.
What is it exactly?
If you can’t find out what it’s made of, it makes you wonder why they haven’t told you. White Pavilion Gazebos are proud of the high-quality materials we use and we tell you.
‘Any colour as long as it’s black’ or have it your way:
White Pavilion Gazebos can be personalised to your preferred style and requirements. That’s not an option with something out of a box. Your White Pavilion Gazebo can be personalised to your style – in a choice of 32 colours, plain canopy or skylight window canopy, side screens in 4 styles, etc
A gazebo with side screen options will give you more weather protection, but sadly they don’t all have them – but ours do. What is the point of a gazebo without side screens to keep the draughts away? White Pavilion Gazebos give you more choice with 4 side screen styles.
Is it simply DIY, is there support advice available or is there an installation service? Can it easily be moved to another location? These are things you need to know before ordering any gazebo. A White Pavilion Gazebo is engineered for simple installation or re-installation and we give you full backup support.
Everyone wants their gazebo to last, but will they? A short guarantee suggests even the manufacturer has little confidence in his gazebo, so why should you? A White Pavilion Gazebo is guaranteed for 5 years and has an expected life of more than 20 years.
UK Research suggests that 17% of buying decisions are based on price and price alone. For these people quality, service and product matter little. But if you’re one of the 83% for whom value matters, then you are in the right place. Remember the adage – buy cheap…buy twice. Or as so many of my customers tell me, 3 or 4 times! At least they made the right decision in the end.
White Pavilion gazebos are designed and made in the UK, so you can be sure of their quality, and can always speak to me directly if you have any questions or concerns. White Pavilion Gazebos are designed in Yorkshire by me.
THE BIG ONE:
This is the most important tip I can give you. Don’t buy any gazebo until you’ve read testimonials from its customers. Remember, the customer is the expert, not the salesman.
Now you have everything you need to know to make your decision. Good luck, and if you want to know anything else just give me a call and I can discuss it with you.
